12 Hours In An Airport

I am currently (July 19) stuck at an airport, waiting for my flight that isn't till 7pm.
I am so glad that there is free wifi, or else I've died already.
Also, I've been traveling for over a day now, and I haven't felt so exhausted in my whole life.

What do you do during long flights/road trips?

Skin Story and Skin Care

Here a little background on my skin... I have normal to oily skin, and I have a few hyperpigmentation spots from previous break outs around my forehead. I started wearing makeup at age 17 when I noticed that my skin started to get oilier. Back then, I only used a little bit of concealer and powder foundation. As I started to get into makeup, I started watching YouTube videos by beauty gurus. From there I ventured out to liquid foundation, primers, eyebrow products, mascara, and etc. I don't really wear a lot of makeup, I just do a no-makeup makeup look. But I would wear foundation everyday. But my mistake was.. I didn't take care of my skin that well. I would always get lazy at the end of the night and just use a makeup wipe or two to take off my whole face of makeup. From that, I started getting spots around my face and then I just covered them up with more concealer.

Early Birthday: HMNS and House of Pies

Yesterday, I celebrated an early birthday with my favorite sisters. We went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and looked at the Butterfly Exhibit, and the Dinosaur Exhibit. After the museum, we went to the famous House of Pies. It was my first time there and it was so good! That place is so popular, that they charge each person $3 an hour.

Yesterday was so much fun. I'm so thankful to have such wonderful friends.

In-Flight Essentials

(I struggled with lighting when I was taking the photos. I'm sorry if the photos doesn't look good.)

On Saturday, I'm going on a trip to Asia with my family.

Book: I picked up We Were Liars at Barnes & Noble yesterday for my 17+ hour flight. I heard that it's a very mysterious and unpredictable book that would really capture you into the story. I looked up a few book talks about it but they suggest to read the book without knowing anything about the plot of the story.

Music: Listening to music during the flight is essential for me. I easily get bored and I hate listening to the sound of the airplane engine.

Headphones: Just because it cancels out the noise and you got to have your own headphones.

Moisturizer/lip balm: I find Aquaphor to be the best healing ointment. It's very moisturizing to the lips and you can also use it on other parts of your body.

Neck pillow: (not pictured) I cannot sleep without a neck pillow!

Other: (not pictured) toothbrush, toothpaste, and body mist/perfume. You gotta be feeling and smelling fresh when you get off the plane.

Passport: Self explanatory.
